I was born in Cape Town and grew up in the South African winelands town of Stellenbosch. From a very young age I always wanted to pursue a career in design. At first an architect, then an industrial designer and finally a filmmaker.

My love for moving images began in high school while working in the local video store. Since completing my studies, I worked with Magic Hour Productions for 3 years where I focused on filming & editing short films, music videos as well as numerous live events and weddings.

In 2009 I joined the 21 Icons Global Project as a documentary filmmaker. The project has opened up a whole new world of creativity for me, including photography and design, also being able to work with amazing equipment. In 2011 through this project a new agency was born - The Ginkgo Agency - I work as a camera operator & video editor on various commercial & corporate projects.

In my free time I practice my photography skills and I also collaborate with BlackMilk Productions to create bizarre and intriguing short films.
